New York High School Softball - Port Jervis gets by Cornwall Central
April 21, 2022: Port Jervis, NY 12771 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY) and the visiting Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), witnessed Port Jervis's softball squad tip Cornwall Central by a count of 5-4.
The Raiders now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Newburgh Free Academy for a non-league match on Monday, April 25. Port Jervis will face a Goldbacks squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Goldbacks record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Cornwall Central moves to 1-1 on the season. The Dragons travel to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY) to face the Bushmen in a non-league match on Friday, April 22. The Bushmen go into the match with a record of 3-0.
