Arizona High School Softball - Verrado bounces Sierra Linda
April 21, 2022: Phoenix, AZ 85043 Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Vipers now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millennium for a 5A Desert West challenge on Monday, April 25. Verrado will face a Tigers squad coming off a 25-2 league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 8-13.
With the loss, Sierra Linda falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Camelback (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Spartans in a 5A Metro challenge on Friday, April 22. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 11-10. Camelback won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ)
