St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 18-2 in a non-league test.

The Cadets now have a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Our Lady of Good Counsel for a Washington Catholic test on Tuesday, April 25. St. John's will face a Falcons squad coming off a 12-9 league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 5-4.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Trinity at Meadow View Tempest (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 22. Bishop Ireton will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Tempest come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 13-11 non-league loss to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA).
