Kansas High School Softball - Central Heights bounces Anderson County
April 21, 2023: Garnett, KS 66032 Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Osage City for a Flint Hills challenge on Thursday, April 27. Central Heights will battle a Indians squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Council Grove (Council Grove, KS). The Indians record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Anderson County falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Louisburg (Louisburg, KS) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Louisburg won 16-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS)
