Kansas High School Softball - Central Heights bounces Humboldt
April 21, 2023: Humboldt, KS 66748 The Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) softball routed the host Humboldt Cubs (Humboldt, KS), 7-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Vikings (9-0) will now prepare for their bout against Osage City (Osage City, KS). The Indians go into the Flint Hills bout with a 12-1 record. In their last bout, Osage City held off Council Grove (Council Grove, KS), 6-3, in a league bout.
The Cubs now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Cherryvale for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 25. Humboldt will face a Chargers squad coming off a 22-4 non-league win over Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
