The Hopkins Hilltoppers baseball squad (New Haven, CT), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Cheshire Academy Cats (Cheshire, CT)

With the triumph, Cheshire Academy moves its record to 14-0 on the season. The Cats travel to Canterbury School (New Milford, CT) to confront the Saints in a Western New England contest on Wednesday, April 23. The Saints come into the contest with a record of 7-1. Canterbury School won 9-1 in their recent league contest against Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA)

The Hilltoppers now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwich Country Day for a Fairfield County contest on Tuesday, April 22. Hopkins will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Greens Farms Academy (Greens Farms, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
