Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 6-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Upper Scioto Valley advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Rams travel to Temple Christian (Lima, OH) to battle the Pioneers in a Northwest Central match on Tuesday, April 22. The Pioneers come into the match with a record of 0-4. Temple Christian lost 18-0 in their recent league match against Elgin (Marion, OH)

The Golden Gophers now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central match on Tuesday, April 22. Ridgemont will battle a Polar Bears squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Ridgedale (Morral, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 9-2.
