April 21, 2025: Geneva, IL 60134 West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Aurora improves its record to 10-5 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to face the Sabres in a Upstate 8 West test on Tuesday, April 22. The Sabres go into the test with a record of 12-7. Streamwood won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Taft (Chicago, IL)
The Vikings now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenbard North for a DuKane test on Tuesday, April 22. Geneva will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 8-7.
