Illinois High School Soccer - Belleville West knocks off Mater Dei
April 21, 2025: Belleville, IL 62223 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) and the visiting Mater Dei Knights (Breese, IL), saw Belleville West's soccer squad triumph over Mater Dei by a count of 8-1.
The Maroons (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Kahoks enter the Southwestern battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Collinsville was overwhelmed by Belleville East (Belleville, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Knights battle the Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 24. Mater Dei will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Kahoks enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 6-0 league loss to Belleville West (Belleville, IL).
