Michigan High School Soccer - Tri County Area knocks off Newaygo
April 21, 2025: Newaygo, MI 49337 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) and the host Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI), saw Tri County Area's soccer squad triumph over Newaygo by a count of 7-0.
The Vikings (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Coyotes enter the Central State challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Reed City was overwhelmed by Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI), 9-1, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Newaygo moves to 1-4 on the year. The Lions host Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI) to encounter the Warriors in a Central State challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Chippewa Hills lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI)
