April 21, 2025: Burlington, WA 98233 The Mount Vernon Bulldogs baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Burlington-Edison Tigers to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.
The Bulldogs now own a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they host Squalicum for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. Mount Vernon will play a Storm team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Storm record now stands at 1-9.
With the defeat, Burlington-Edison drops to 5-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Ferndale (Ferndale, WA) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24.
