In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Seward Bluejays baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Crete Cardinals.

The Bluejays (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Mount Michael Benedictine nudged Waverly (Waverly, NE), 12-6, in a non-league game.
