April 21, 2025: Portland, MI 48875 The St. Patrick Shamrocks baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates to 2 in the Shamrocks non-league win on Monday.
The Shamrocks now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Lothrop for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. St. Patrick will play a Hornets team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Montrose (Montrose, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Pewamo-Westphalia drops to 0-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Potterville (Potterville, MI) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 0-2. Potterville lost 18-10 in their recent non-league test against Saranac (Saranac, MI)
