In Monday's non-league match, the visiting North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers softball team scored a nice 13-2 win over the Covington Trojans.

The Chargin' Chargers (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Danville (Danville, IN). The Warriors come into the Sagamore match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Danville notched a victory over Avon (Avon, IN), 11-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Oakwood Comets (Fithian, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 22. Covington will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 8-7 record after their 9-8 league win over Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL).
