The National Trail Blazers softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Troy Christian Eagles to 4 in the Blazers non-league win on Monday.

The Blazers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arcanum for a Western Ohio Athletic battle on Tuesday, April 22. National Trail will confront a Trojans team coming off a 5-0 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Troy Christian moves to 0-9 on the season. The Eagles host Covington (Covington, OH) to confront the Buccs in a Three Rivers battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Buccs come into the battle with a record of 8-7. Covington won 15-4 in their recent non-league battle against New Bremen (New Bremen, OH)
