Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI), 13-7 in a league bout.

The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record.

In their next game, the Shamrocks clash with the Bath Fighting Bees (Bath, MI) in a Central Michigan bout, on Thursday, April 24. St. Patrick will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Fighting Bees go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 16-0 league loss to Fowler (Fowler, MI).
