The Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO) baseball trounced the host Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO), 7-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they host Mead for a 5A/4A Granite Peaks challenge on Thursday, April 23. Centaurus will clash with a Mavericks team coming off a 5-4 league win over Horizon (Thornton, CO). The Mavericks record now stands at 11-6.

With the defeat, Longmont drops to 9-7 on the year. The Trojans travel to Monarch (Louisville, CO) to clash with the Coyotes in a 5A/4A Granite Peaks challenge on Thursday, April 23. The Coyotes go into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Monarch won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Skyline (Longmont, CO)
