The Duluth East Greyhounds softball squad (Duluth, MN), was edged 9-8 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Superior Spartans (Superior, WI)

With the triumph, Superior improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Hermantown (Hermantown, MN) to face the Hawks in a non-league contest on Monday, April 27. The Hawks enter the contest with a record of 2-2.
