The Quitman Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Rison Wildcats to 5 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sylvan Hills for a non-league battle on Friday, April 24. Quitman will encounter a Bears team coming off a 5-1 league win over Vilonia (Vilonia, AR). The Bears record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Rison moves to 5-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to DeWitt (DeWitt, AR) to encounter the Dragons in a 3A Region 8 battle on Friday, April 24. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 7-5. DeWitt won 15-0 in their recent league battle against McGehee (McGehee, AR)
