Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), 12-1 in a league test.

With the win, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to Jay County (Portland, IN) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, April 26. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-3.

With the defeat, Blue River Valley falls to 2-3 on the season. The Vikings host Union City (Union City, IN) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, April 23.
