Arkansas High School Soccer - Bauxite nudges Cave City
April 22, 2022: Bauxite, AR 72011 Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Miners confront the Morrilton Devil Dogs (Morrilton, AR) in a 4A South challenge, on Tuesday, April 26. Bauxite will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Devil Dogs enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 1-1 league Nashville (Nashville, AR).
The Cavemen now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverview for a 3A North challenge on Thursday, April 28. Cave City will confront a Raiders team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Harding Academy (Searcy, AR). The Raiders record now stands at 1-7.
