April 22, 2022: Birmingham, AL 35222 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Altamont Knights (Birmingham, AL) and the visiting Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL), saw Altamont's soccer squad get by Gardendale by a count of 1-0.
The Knights now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to American Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, April 29. Altamont will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Brookwood (Brookwood, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Gardendale drops to 13-5 on the season. The Rockets travel to Pelham (Pelham, AL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, April 25. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 18-3. Pelham won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL)
