April 22, 2022: Crosbyton, TX 79322 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) and the host Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX), saw New Deal's softball squad achieve victory over Crosbyton by a count of 11-1.
The Lions now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forsan for a non-league match on Thursday, April 28. New Deal will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Crosbyton falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 26.
