Connecticut High School Baseball - New London loses to Pomperaug
April 22, 2023: New London, CT 06320 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Pomperaug Panthers baseball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the New London Whalers.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Kolbe-Cathedral was overwhelmed by New Milford (New Milford, CT), 12-2, in a non-league game.
The Whalers (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Colonels go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division II game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Ledyard was overwhelmed by Windham (Willimantic, CT), 15-9, in a league game.
