April 22, 2023: Salinas, CA 93906 The Cristo Rey Lions (San Jose, CA) volleyball tipped the host Everett Alvarez Eagles (Salinas, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Cristo Rey upgrades its record to 14-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Christopher (Gilroy, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 22. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 3-19. Christopher lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Leland (San Jose, CA)
The Eagles now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Seaside for a PCAL - Mission outing on Monday, April 24. Everett Alvarez will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 11-4.
