April 22, 2023: Long Beach, CA 90802 In Saturday's non-league contest, the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) volleyball squad nudged the host St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Mavericks battle the Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 22. La Costa Canyon will attempt to better on its 9-15 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 28-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to San Clemente (San Clemente, CA).
With the loss, St. Anthony moves to 15-8 on the year.
