April 22, 2023: San Diego, CA 92129 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), saw Mt. Carmel's volleyball squad beat Steele Canyon by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Mt. Carmel upgrades its record to 14-23 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-13. Granite Hills lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA)
The Cougars now own a 14-16 record. They play next when they host Valhalla for a Grossmont Valley bout on Monday, April 24. Steele Canyon will play a Norsemen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 5-15.
