Maine High School Lacrosse - South Portland tipped by Morse
April 22, 2023: Bath, ME 04530 In Saturday's non-league test, the host Morse Shipbuilders lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-9 victory over the South Portland Red Riots.
The Shipbuilders now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Erskine Academy for a Class C test on Tuesday, April 25. Morse will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-6 league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Red Riots face the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 25. South Portland will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Stags come into the test with a 4-0 record after their 17-4 league win over Deering (Portland, ME).
