South Carolina High School Soccer - Gilbert nudges Providence HomeSchool
April 22, 2023: Columbia, SC 29072 Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Providence HomeSchool Panthers (Columbia, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 22. Gilbert will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 1-1 league Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC).
The Panthers now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carolina Forest for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Providence HomeSchool will confront a Panthers team coming off a 5-0 league win over St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.
