The Cannon Cougars lacrosse squad (Concord, NC), was nipped 9-8 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC)

Coming up next, the Crusaders confront the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a CAP 6 contest, on Monday, April 24. Cardinal Gibbons will attempt to advance on its 13-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 12-5 record after their 7-6 league win over Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC).

The Cougars now own a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Charlotte Christian for a NCISAA - Division I contest on Tuesday, April 25. Cannon will confront a Knights squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.
