Michigan High School Softball - Stoney Creek nudges Caledonia
April 22, 2023: Rochester Hills, MI 48306 Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI), 13-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Almont for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Stoney Creek will face a Raiders squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Armada (Armada, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Caledonia falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Fighting scots travel to Mattawan (Mattawan, MI) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Mattawan lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI)
