The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) and the visiting Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), observed Harrison County's softball team prevail over Mason County by a tally of 8-0.

The Thorobreds (19-4) will now prepare for their bout against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Simon Kenton was routed by North Oldham (Goshen, KY), 7-5, in a non-league bout.
