New York High School Softball - Oneonta bounces Unatego
April 22, 2024: Oneonta, NY 13820 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Oneonta Yellowjackets (Oneonta, NY) and the visiting Unatego Spartans (Otego, NY), saw Oneonta's softball squad achieve victory over Unatego by a count of 12-4.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson City for a non-league match on Thursday, April 25. Oneonta will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Unatego falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY) to face the Bobcats in a Section 4 Midstate I match on Wednesday, April 24. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 4-0. Bainbridge-Guilford won 4-2 in their recent league match against Sidney (Sidney, NY)
