The Gunnison Cowboys baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Centauri Falcons to 1 in the Cowboys non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cowboys now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roaring Fork for a 3A Western Slope test on Saturday, April 26. Gunnison will clash with a Rams team coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO). The Rams record now stands at 4-11.

With the defeat, Centauri drops to 5-10 on the year. The Falcons travel to Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a 3A Intermountain test on Saturday, April 26. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 7-6. Pagosa Springs lost 15-5 in their recent league test against Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO)
