Virginia High School Soccer - Lewis toppled by Mount Vernon
April 22, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22309 Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 8-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mount Vernon advances its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Majors travel to Edison (Alexandria, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a test on Thursday, April 24. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-0. Edison won 4-0 in their recent league test against Falls Church (Falls Church, VA)
The Lancers now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Annandale for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. Lewis will clash with a Atoms team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Atoms record now stands at 2-4.
