Virginia High School Lacrosse - Monticello overwhelms Fauquier
April 22, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) lacrosse routed the visiting Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA), 20-11 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orange County for a Jefferson outing on Friday, April 25. Monticello will face a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 22-15 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Fauquier falls to 0-6 on the year. The Falcons host James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. James Monroe won 17-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA)
