Maine High School Lacrosse - Morse nudges South Portland
April 22, 2025: South Portland, ME 04106 The Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) lacrosse nudged the host South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME), 13-12 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Shipbuilders now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cony for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 29. Morse will face a Rams squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, South Portland falls to 1-1 on the year. The Red riots travel to Massabesic (Waterboro, ME) to face the Mustangs in a Class A outing on Thursday, April 24. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Massabesic won 6-4 in their recent non-league outing against Messalonskee (Oakland, ME)
