The North Newton Spartans baseball squad (Morocco, IN), was overwhelmed 16-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN)

With the triumph, Kankakee Valley moves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Kougars host Hobart (Hobart, IN) to confront the Brickies in a contest on Monday, April 28. The Brickies come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Hobart lost 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)
