Georgia High School Lacrosse - Etowah overwhelms Pope
April 22, 2025: Woodstock, GA 30189 The Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) lacrosse routed the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), 15-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Harrison for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 24. Etowah will face a Hoyas squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to South Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Hoyas record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Pope falls to 7-10 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA) to face the War Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 24. The War Eagles go into the outing with a record of 7-10. Woodward Academy won 12-1 in their recent league outing against Newnan (Newnan, GA)
