Iowa High School Soccer - Ottumwa toppled by Ames
April 22, 2025: Ames, IA 50010 Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Ames moves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Little Cyclones travel to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Roughriders in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Roughriders come into the test with a record of 5-0. Roosevelt won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Waukee (Waukee, IA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pella for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. Ottumwa will battle a Dutch squad coming off a 1-1 league Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Dutch record now stands at 4-1.
