Michigan High School Softball - Thurston bounces Star International Academy
April 22, 2025: Redford, MI 48239 The Thurston Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Star International Academy Falcons to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melvindale for a Western Wayne battle on Wednesday, April 23. Thurston will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 16-1 league win over Thurston (Redford, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Star International Academy moves to 1-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Summit Academy (Romulus, MI) to confront the Dragons in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Summit Academy lost 22-0 in their recent non-league battle against Anderson (Southgate, MI)
