The Mt. Markham Mustangs (West Winfield, NY) baseball trounced the visiting Canastota (Canastota, NY), 14-7 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Little Falls for a Section 3 Center State I challenge on Friday, April 24. Mt. Markham will clash with a Mounties team coming off a 14-13 league loss to Frankfort-Schuyler (Frankfort, NY). The Mounties record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Canastota drops to 1-5 on the year. The travel to Hamilton (Hamilton, NY) to clash with the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 24. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Hamilton lost 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Poland (Poland, NY)
