Missouri High School Baseball - Marion defeats Sikeston
April 22, 2026: Sikeston, MO 63801 The Marion Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Sikeston Bulldogs to 4 in the Wildcats non-league win on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now hold a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goreville for a non-league test on Monday, April 27. Marion will play a Blackcats team coming off a 5-2 league win over Zeigler-Royalton (Zeigler, IL). The Blackcats record now stands at 13-1.
With the defeat, Sikeston drops to 8-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to DeSoto (DeSoto, MO) to play the Dragons in a Class 5 District 1 test on Friday, April 24. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 9-11. DeSoto lost 22-11 in their recent non-league test against Pacific (Pacific, MO)
