In Wednesday's non-league test, the Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Central Panthers (Indianapolis, IN), by a tally of 15-1.

Next, the Fighting Irish clash with the Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 23. Cathedral will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 4-8 record after their 9-8 league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, IN).

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against NorthWood (Nappanee, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, NorthWood was routed by Northridge (Middlebury, IN), 10-0, in a league test.
