The Chatham Central Bears softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Wheatmore Warriors to 4 in the Bears non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bears now possess a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Harnett for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 23. Chatham Central will confront a Eagles team coming off a 9-5 league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.
