Texas High School Baseball - Da Vinci gets by Cobre
April 23, 2022: El Paso, TX 79912 Da Vinci (El Paso, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM), 6-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Da Vinci upgrades its record to 14-13 on the season. The host Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM) to battle the SonBlazers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 26. The SonBlazers come into the test with a record of 1-7. Mesilla Valley Christian School lost 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Cathedral (El Paso, TX)
With the defeat, Cobre falls to 11-9 on the season. The Indians travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to battle the Bears in a 3A District 3 test on Tuesday, April 26. The Bears come into the test with a record of 5-15. Hatch Valley won 6-5 in their recent league test against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM)
