April 23, 2022: New Castle, PA 16105 Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA), 18-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Neshannock upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Lancers host Summit Academy (Herman, PA) to battle the Knights in a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Tuesday, April 26. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-9. Summit Academy lost 17-0 in their recent league test against Riverside (Ellwood City, PA)
With the defeat, Obama Academy of International Studies falls to 1-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Brashear (Pittsburgh, PA) to battle the Bulls in a Pittsburgh City test on Monday, April 25. The Bulls come into the test with a record of 2-3. Brashear won 6-5 in their recent league test against Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA)
