The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) and the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), saw Mt. Carmel's volleyball squad nip Helix by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Mt. Carmel upgrades its record to 14-21 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA) to play the Broncos in a Palomar bout on Tuesday, April 26. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 12-14. Rancho Bernardo lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Westview (San Diego, CA)
