Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 6-4 in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waldwick for a non-league battle on Monday, April 25.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Glen Rock Panthers (Glen Rock, NJ) in a Independence North battle, on Tuesday, April 26. Vernon will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record.
