April 23, 2022: Des Plaines, IL 60018 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) and the visiting Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), saw Maine West's soccer squad get by Mundelein by a margin of 2-1.
The Warriors now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Niles North for a Central Suburban - North test on Tuesday, April 26. Maine West will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Mundelein drops to 7-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Libertyville (Libertyville, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a North Suburban - Lake test on Tuesday, April 26.
